Hello there! I am a fourth-year Ph.D. candidate in the Learning Design and Technology program at Purdue University, co-advised by Dr. Marisa Exter and Dr. William R. Watson. I hold a master’s degree in Educational Assessment and Evaluation and a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics Education.

 

My research examines the assessment and development of non-observable competencies, including dispositions, character traits, and professional competencies. Grounded in my background in educational assessment and learning design, my work explores how these competencies can be conceptualized, measured, and intentionally fostered through instructional design. I also investigate how emerging technologies, particularly GenAI, are reshaping the competencies students need to succeed in evolving academic and professional contexts.
